Optir Executive Coaching (OEC) is a provider
of leadership coaching and mentoring service. Its philosophy and model are
based on a pragmatic approach to the needs of persons occupying positions of
leadership and broad experience on profiles of such individuals.
OEC’s approach demystifies the stereotype of the “lonely”
leader. It projects profiles of individuals driven by clear vision,
extraordinary will and energy with an ability to shape people’s expectations
and motivation towards this vision.
It deals with the needs of the concerned individuals to identify gaps for additional knowledge, accurate
intelligence gathering, resources, societal acceptance and strategies and
explore avenues in meeting them by effecting behavioural change.
OEC offers rich experience in running different kinds of
operating entities in many countries. Its coach is known for his balanced
character and calm, with observing and listening capabilities as well as
communications skills at most social, political or business environments. For
more details see below.
The service is provided only on a one-to-one
basis in total confidentiality. No private data is given to a third party
without consent.
Upon request, an initial exploratory discussion can be
arranged.
Ahead of this, the potential recipient of the service
would be asked to provide briefs about himself and his organisation.
At its aftermath a programme framework will be submitted for his comments that
would initiate the service process. For details see

The goal
The service overarching goal is to enhance an individual’s
capacity to form a vision and mobilise his team for its realization. It aims at
improvements in organizational performance and personal effectiveness. It is
constructed with details intended to match exactly his/her unique needs and is
developed jointly using a background template developed by OEC.
The
first phase is initiated by evaluating the visionary capacity of the individual,
his/her understanding of the coaching/mentoring concept, his/her personal
commitment as well as his/her expectations from a leader’s coaching programme.
These expectations are tested against perceived needs for additional knowledge,
accurate intelligence, resources, societal acceptance and strategies. The
approach ensures that the programme goal and end-game horizon are agreed at
this point.
In
the next stage specific assessments of the starting situation with focus on
perceived needs are carried out, using instruments such as 360° feedback and
interviews with the client's closer business and social environment including
his family.
After
evaluation of the assessments results, a detailed plan of actions is drawn,
aiming at bridging the gap between the individual’s expectations and perceived
needs, setting a series of coaching sessions involving physical meetings as
well as additional lateral actions run in parallel.
In the ending phase a joint evaluation of the programme is
produced including a frank feedback by the individual on OEC's effectiveness.
This evaluation also includes the individual’s changes relevant to his
leadership style consequent to the programme and future coaching needs.
